i grew up here. baptized, sunday school, vacation bible school, confirmation classes, church retreats, choir, sunday morning acolyte. after several years i took a tour last year. the basement and tunnels under the church still smell the same. i love that.
but for the first time in the church's history they laid an employee off. it happened to be my mom. i don't love that.
