Julie and I went to New York in July. I lost my collapsible wayfarers, took a ferry to my favorite beach in Brooklyn, searched for jumpers, felt like Ugly Betty during meetings at Ford Model Agency and watched Mean Streets from the deep end of McCarren Pool. I also ate my weight in italian ice, italian rollatini, slabs of bbq bacon, sides of cornbeef hash and organic whipped cream from a truck. Done and done.

The Mean Streets of New York
Julie and I went to New York in July.
